Francis E. Abate - Has 20+ years of experience in sales & marketing government systems. Prior to that, he spent 8 years between government and industry in engineering, systems integration, and support roles. As a member of the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA), since 1990, Francis has dedicated time as an officer of the Chesapeake Chapter ERA Board of Directors.

PURPOSE: To create a business development relationship,
between FEMA and its' client, for capturing business from the federal
government.
MISSION STATEMENT: To provide quality solutions and
services to our customers, with ongoing support from identification of needs,
to program completion.
BACKGROUND: FEMA represents over 30
years of government sales experience, primarily in the Department of Defense
marketplace. We develop strategic relationships with potential customers and
partners, with the result of winning long term, profitable business
opportunities from the US Government. Our expertise is identifying appropriate
opportunities in your field. We have introduced numerous companies, large and
small, to this market with the result of securing new business. Many of these
organizations were unknown entities to government officials until they were
introduced by us; from the $9B Eaton Corporation to the half million dollar
entrepreneurship, we have made a difference.
SCOPE OF WORK: As
representatives for our client, we will
- Introduce you to specific program managers and procurement
officials responsible for your products and services.
- Develop long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with
these individuals so they become our long term customers.
- Identify all funding and program plans so that you can make an
educated decision on how and when to spend your money in the bid/no bid
process.
- Identify your competition to maximize our chances of success.
- Participate in selected government briefings to industry,
relative to your products & services.
- Participate as requested in company training, sales, and
business meetings.
- Develop capture plans, sales forecasts, and periodic updates
for opportunities being perused.
